Graham as Dean of Students

Graham returned to his alma mater in 1919 as its first dean of students. In this position, he joined President Harry W. Chase in a successful statewide lobbying campaign to increase funding for the university. Graham earned a reputation during these years for cultivating a wide circle of friends throughout the state, for tireless speech making, and for advocating education to alleviate poverty.
