In 1890, the fraternities published their own yearbook, called the Hellenian, with photographs, sketches, and information about their members. This yearbook became the Yackety Yack in 1901 and included the entire student body. During the 1920s about one-quarter of the student body belonged to fraternities, which had houses near the corner of Columbia Street and Cameron Avenue.
